Hello, my name is Flynn, and I am a young Brisbane artist. My preferred medium is acrylic paint on canvas and as you can see my style usually falls somewhere between expressionism and surrealism.
Although I have always been a creative person, I never planned on becoming an artist. For a long time I thought that relying upon my creativity for a living would be far too stressful and that the pressure would inhibit my creativity. This perspective began to change around 2016 when I discovered painting and art helped me cope with my chronic migraines (which I have had all my life).
Then when I finished high school at the end of 2017, I decided that although I loved maths and science, I wanted a career in a field that was flexible and worked with my migraines rather than against them. I decided to take a 'gap year' and invest some time in exploring my creative hobbies and now both my art and sugar flowers are quite a successful.
